Accessibility Statement
Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We have tested part of this site against that target, using automated tools; this page states plainly what has been verified and what has not, rather than claiming a conformance we have not tested.
What has been tested
Automated accessibility checks (axe-core) run in our test suite against the site's pages, using WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA rules. Automated tools find only part of the accessibility issues a person can find, so passing these checks is evidence of care, not proof of full conformance.
Known limitations
Our latest internal accessibility audit recorded these gaps, which are not yet resolved:
- Screen-reader (VoiceOver, NVDA, TalkBack) and keyboard-only testing of this site have not yet been carried out.
- Behaviour at 200% browser zoom and at a 320px viewport width has not yet been manually verified.
- Whether the keyboard focus indicator stays visible behind sticky elements such as the header has not yet been manually verified.
- Testing on real iOS and Android devices, rather than a browser's device emulation, has not yet been done.
